
Jen Berger

jen berger (she/her) is a socially engaged artist, educator, and organizer based in Vermont. Her interdisciplinary work—spanning printmaking, performance, installation, and mixed media—lives at the intersections of art, care, and justice, centering collective grief, political imagination, and participation.
With roots in grassroots organizing, jen brings decades of movement experience into the studio, the street, and the classroom. In 2019, she founded At the Root, an LLC supporting site-specific projects, printmaking workshops, and public installations that foster dialogue around social and political issues. Since 2020, her work has moved into larger public art spaces, exploring the intersections of art, care, public space, and public art. Having worked part-time in academia since 2014, she is currently a full-time lecturer in Art & Art History at the University of Vermont.
