Greta Wilsterman

Charlotte, VT

I have had a long journey with clay that I’m so grateful has led me to teaching at the craft school. After receiving my BFA in ceramics from the Maine College of art in 2017, I pursued a two-year pottery apprenticeship. I bailed after a year and a half, allowing myself to zero in on my values as an artist. My practice has become one of incorporating gentleness and humor into the studio, allowing process to outweigh product and learning self-confidence through play. I am a preschool teacher, a multidisciplinary artist, and a maker of lots of mistakes and joyful objects. I am so lucky to live in Charlotte VT with my wife Daria and our two cats, and I happily cannot be found on social media.
