A Year of Hands, Hearts & Hammers
This year, as we mark our 80th anniversary, I am humbled and energized by what we’ve built together at Shelburne Craft School. Since we opened our doors in 1945, our mission has remained constant: to open the door to craft, community and confidence.
Over the past twelve months, our studios have been alive with making. From youth campers shaping their first clay, to seasoned artisans turning invasive maple into bowls in the heart of winter... each moment contributes to the magic that’s been spinning here for years.
Craft is about connection, identity, and the courage to create. In a world that often moves fast, our community slows down, picks up tools, shares stories, and builds something lasting.
As we look forward into our next decade, we do so with intention: to expand access, deepen partnerships and elevate diverse voices in craft. Thank you for being part of this journey... your support and curiosity fuel every offering.
With gratitude and excitement,
Heather
